Shipping

Shipping costs
Worldwide shipping costs are calculated in the checkout process. The shipping fee depends on the location of the shipping address as well as the weight of the total delivery. Included in Shipping costs are custom fees and taxes according to receiving country´s laws. Different rules apply for orders heavier than 5kg.

Customers can also pick up your items at our store, downtown Reykjavik.

Processing
All orders are shipped from Iceland. We do our best to process orders within 24 hours of being placed. All orders are processed during office hours on weekdays; we do not process any orders on weekends or Icelandic bank holidays. This means that if your order is placed after 4 PM on a Friday (GMT +00:00) it will be processed on Monday. All orders sent abroad are shipped with DHL Express and shipping usually takes 3-5 business days.

Please note that due to the COVID-19 virus, shipment may take longer.

Changing or cancelling orders
Icewear cannot guarantee any changes after placing you made your purchase due to high order volume. Please contact us at [email protected] as soon as possible and display "Change order #123456" in the subject line. Have a look at our return policy for more information.

Tracking
After placing your order, you will receive an e-mail with your tracking number. The tracking number can also be found in your account. Follow your order on www.dhl.com/en/express/tracking.html

Customs and taxes
We do not expect our customers to pay any extra fees. However, sometimes orders are stopped by customs. When this happens, we kindly ask our customers to pay the fees and then send us a copy of the tax/customs receipt. Please send the receipt to [email protected] within 30 days of placing the order with the order number and the name of the buyer. We will then fully refund the amount paid for taxes to the original form of payment, if the order is less than 5kg.

Undeliverable orders
If your order was, for some reason, not delivered and sent back to us at Icewear, the order will automatically be treated as a return. When this happens, we kindly ask you to place a new order.
